Effexor XR and Grogginess

Hi,
I'm new to this discussion and fairly new to Effexor XR. I have been on it for almost 3 months and have increased to 225 mg. about 3 weeks ago. Working fine for the depression and anxiety which seems to plague my life. But I am now chronically tired and apathetic - which is very problematic as I am supposed to be dissertation writing. Has anyone else experienced this? Will it wear off? Should I decrease the dosage? Thanks for any input.
