Well, my half-sarcastic, half-serious answer to that question is that with Dextrostat you do not have to say the word "Dexedrine" or the word "amphetamine", both of which have negative connotations.
But the real reason I took Dextrostat was because it was considered a "generic" for Dexedrine, so my insurance liked it.
But when I tried the Barr generic dextroamphetamine, I found it vastly inferior to the Dextrostat (which was a generic for Dexedrine).
