> I've just switched from serzone and started taking Lexapro yesterday afternoon. Within an hour I felt as if I was going to be sick. This morning I still feel very nauseous and dizzy and had very little sleep. I was taking Serzone for the past year because there wasn't severe sexual S/E's. but it didn't seem to stop me from getting into deep funks? Does Lexapro prevent these periods of depression that have effected my life in all aspects? I want to have the energy to accomplish the many things I need to do. Does Lexapro help with energy levels or ambition to accomplish? I would appreciate any information and plan on reading a few past postings.Read blkvettes, lil' jimi, okpolosi....all are success stories for lexapro.
Side effects can be bad at first but DO GO AWAY!!!.
As far as energy and motivation... my husband said to me the other day "You're acting like you are on speed" and it was because I did the landry, cleaned the kitchen, did yard work, helped build a fence, and was still ready to do MORE!
Haven't had anxiety or bad depression in a while.
Be patient as it may take 6-8 weeks to feel benefits.
GOOD LUCK!!!
