depakote weight gain substitute

ive had massive weight gain on depakote and i
was wondering if their was any alternative
medication that would provide the same effects
but not the weight gain.thanks.

p.s.-i heard of somehting that might help but
forgot what it was called i think it begain with
topacote?im not sure but if that helps anyone with
an anserw i thought i would just put it in.
