Hi McPac -
Thanks for posting this. With all of the meds I've been on, none have ever helped my OCD :( Granted, it has never been a sole focus of treatment for me, but discouraging nonetheless.
I was wondering if you had any more information about this study. I was particularly intrigued by the last sentence:
>When all the available and effective strategies prove uneffective, clinicians should consider switching the patient to other compounds in monotherapy, such as venlafaxine, **sumatriptan**, inositol, although research is strongly needed before conclusions on the efficacy of such compounds can be drawn.
I take a LOT of sumatriptan, never noticed any change with OCD. So I'm curious what kind of studies they're doing, if you know. Thanks so much!
