Straterra for procrastination, anxiey?

Posted by utopizen on May 24, 2003, at 5:37:38

I have ADD and social anxiety. I take Desoxyn for the ADD (10mg 2x/day) and Klonopin (1mg 3x/day) and Nalodol (40mg AM, it's an XR beta blocker).

I was wondering if Straterra would help me control my procrastination issues. Desoxyn does movitvate me to do work, but only to a point. I was thinking the combo of Desoxyn, Klono and Nalodol plus Straterra would help smooth things a bit. Klonopin and Nalodol are great for my social anxiety.

My doc said he was thinking of evenually trying Straterra on me. Besides the $30 co-pay for it being a tier-3 drug for my insurance, what else should I think about? Has anyone felt less anxious, or seen less procrastination, while on it?
