What I know - I am no expert but I did study neuroscience in college and took psychopharm, etc,
in addition to my own personal research -
is that Effexor mostly affects norepinephrine and serotonin a bit, and of course Zoloft
being an SSRI mainly affects serotonin. I'd recommend something that is more
specific for dopamine like Wellbutrin.
