I had success but then poop-out on Parnate. But when I had success it was great! However, I had to lower my dose becuase of somethong like anxiety--kind of like I couldn't get certain thoughts out of my mind, a problem I had not had before nor since. Is it possible you need to LOWER your dose of parnate? 30 mgs n=might be fine if you are not depressed right now.
A question for you. I think I saw in an old post that you had restarted parnate after some time away from it. Why did you stop and resart? Was it poop-out and then it worked again later?
I have been off of parnate for years, and nothing really works for me like parnate used to work. Effexor can be OK if I can stand no sex drive, a fuzzy head, and 10 hours of sleep a night. Right now I can't tolerate those side-effects.
I wsa just wondering if I might retry parnate with a chance of success.
Thanks, and good luck!
> I didn't mention these facts in my original post: I'm taking 40 mg. Parnate as well as 2.75 mg/day of Klonopin at bedtime to help me sleep. I've been sleeping fine, don't feel as if I have depression symptoms, but have been feeling anxious during the day. Do you think I should a) increase the dose of the Parnate (to 50 mg.), b) increase the dose of Klonopin, or c) just leave this one for my pdoc to decide? This is all very disturbing. . .Parnate has always been my salvation in both areas.?
