TRI- DI-methylglycine: How different???

Trimethylglycine has been suggested as a helpful adjunct by some posters.

How is the action of TMG different from DMG (di-methylglycine)?

Does anyone know how they compare in strength, i.e. what are recommended dose ranges for DMG.
