I have been trying to find a substitute for Nardil since I had to stop taking it in preparation for sugery a few years ago. Mirapex (Pramepixole) has been used for years for treating parkinsons. It's a dopamine agonist. Just recently it has been tested for AD properties and passed. Especially in areas of anhedonia. I found that it made me more outgoing, witty, less inhibitted. It should be ok with a TCA's and SSRI's Maybe some other babblers can help me in this area? There seemed to be some synergy when I took it with SSRI's If you go on Anafranil the stimulating properties of Mirapex might help cancel out some of the sedation of Anafranil and make you more outgoing.
One more thing that helped with my SP was Cyclert(Pemoline). It's used for ADD. I took Cyclert with luvox also. It's a milder stimulant than Ritalin. It Definately helped me meet chicks. Dexidrine and Ritalin will help too. Especially combined with an AD like Anafranil. You'll have to double check for med. interactions. I hope you can get access to some of these meds. Take care.
