It sounds like the Lexapro is working very well for you. It's an excellent antidepressent for many people. I would stay on it if I were you. It seems like most people do not gain weight on Lexapro, but I know that some do. This can happen with most antidepressents.

I also take 20 mg of Lexapro and have had excellent results.

I hope you can lose some of the weight. Talk to your doctor about the Atkins diet. It seems to be the most successful of the numerous diets being used.
