There must be a connection to the Effexor and the pain. I don't have arthritis, so I can't say it feels like that, but it hurts. I can't wait to eat breakfast in the morning so I can take more motrin. I'm going to make an appointment with my doctor, I don't want to take this drug anymore. I think more research needs to be done on it and what it does to the rest of the body. If there are all these visible side effects what is it doing that can't be felt or seen? I've only been taking Effoxr sense the beginning of February, but there has to be something else.
Hi,
> I also have a strange pain in my hip. It feels like arthritis. It hurts to move and when I have been sitting and try to get up from sitting position it is nearly impossible to walk without pain. I have been off effexor for about 3 weeks now. I wonder if this is causing my hip pain. I also have neck pain that feels like a stiff neck and also shoulder pain. What do you think? I am glad I went off Effexor even though I am very depressed now I think I might be alright in a few weeks. It will just take time to learn to deal with things without the help of Effexor. Good luck to you, jtc
