TCAs vs MAOIs

For anyone who has tried both classes (MAOIs and TCAs),
I'm interested what your experiences were like and how you
would compare the two - preference, side effects, efficacy,
etc? I am going to try one or the other soon and I'm trying
to decide which kind to go with.
