their focus and concentration abilities when lowering a med, like Zoloft, for instance? Whenever I lower my Zoloft, I completely lose my focus and concentration (when I reach a certain dose)! I can't think or focus worth jacksh!t. (A slight decrease may not cause too much change but once I've lowered it significantly (even if I lower it gradually and over time) my mind just can't focus worth crap. Even while taking fish oil, the fish oil doesn't seem to help the focus problem at all ONCE I GET TO A CERTAIN LEVEL OF ZOLOFT. Maybe I have to persevere and give it more time and possibly my body will get used to and adjust to the lowered Zoloft dose? (I usually take 100 mg. of Zoloft...75 mg and I could still focus...50mg and I could still focus...25 mg and my ability to focus goes to crap!) What happens, in the brain, when I lower the Zoloft dose that causes the problem? Is it the downregulation of certain receptor sites (serotonin/others?) Thanks for any insight!
