> Jumpy, I've never experienced antidepressant "poop-out". It either worked at a low dose (and continued to do so), didn't work at all, or it worked but I couldn't tolerate the side effects. IOW, I never took an antidepressant that gave me a super miraculous neato response that lasted for a limited time and then just dropped me flat. I've never taken MAOI's-so that wouldn't exempt me from that experience you speak of. It is possible that the AD response could be a mild hypomania being triggered by the AD, and then the "poopout" the result of mood cycling (downward). If the Lamictal helped, I would continue with what works. Ultimately, that is the solution-what works for you individually.Mitch ... thanks again, you a lifesaver.
