Thanks for the reply, things did not work out with my son while on Wellbutrin. Nine days into it he had a psychotic episode and had to be taken to the ER, prior to that he couldn't be left alone, he developed fears of being alone, of the dark and said he felt paranoid just moving from room in the house to the next. He also developed esophageal spasms which were quite painful for him, on top of that his vision blurred out on him, he only has sight in one eye so that was a major concern. He's back to himself again, although still struggling in school and back to his behavioural problems. Wellbutrin made a lasting impression on him with regards to meds and he refuses to try anything else now. I'm so glad things worked out for your son. I've read alot of positive things about Wellbutrin and ADD and for the most part it works, but for some, like my son, the experience is horrific.
