I guess the posters of this thread are no longer interested in this, but I want to provide this information for others anyway.
I only translated some things from a german Monograph, that dont show up at the sites available. I dont post links to them to avoid a http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#illegal from Dr. Bob because they contain links on how to order it.

Roland> I've found a number of research articles on the Internet on Tianeptine, but I have been unable to find some very basic "PDR-type" information on this drug that is only available overseas. I need answers to the following questions:
>
> 1) What is the half life of Tianeptine/Stablon?
>
> 2) What is the time to peak for Tianeptine (i.e., the time it takes from the time you swallow the drug to the time it reaches peak blood levels)?
>
> 3) Should Tianeptine be taken with or without food?
>
With food.> 4) Which hepatic/liver enzymes does Tianeptine inhibit, if any? Which does it induce? Which enzymes is it a substrate of?
>
> 4)What is the recommended or usual daily dosage? What is the maximum daily dosage that is safe?
>
> 5)Should Tianeptine be taken during the day or at night?
>
Day.
> My physician recently prescribed Stablon, but the medicine is as new to him as it is to me, so I do need answers to the above questions. Thank you for any help you can provide.
