How long do MAOIs take to work ?

Hello everybody,
My question is mainly about irreversible and non-selective MAOI like Nardil, Parnate , Marplan , Marsilid.
I would like to know how long do MAOIs usually take to work ? What I mean with "work" is the apparition of the very 1st positive effects and not the full effect.
When it has worked , was it with initial dosage or were you obliged to upgrade initial dosage ?
