In reply to Fish Oil - what is the monthly cost?, posted by btnd on April 3, 2003, at 5:45:18
The prices range a lot. My pdoc had recommended twin labs as cost effective, but I don't know the details.
I find Carlson's liquid fish oil cost effective. Each bottle contains 40 teaspoonfuls, each teaspoonful has 800 mg of EPA and 500 of DHA. the bottle costs around $20 in most places, I think. My food coop carries it for $16.
But I can't say I've done an exhaustive comparison.
