I hope you started out on a low dose of Lex. and slowly increased it. I'm on my 6th week of Lex. and only take 5 mg. because I'm very sensitive to meds. During the first 4 weeks I took Lex at 9 a.m. but 8-10 hours after taking lex., I would become very restless and anxious. Then during the 5th week, 8-10 hours after taking lex, I was no longer restless or anxious but very very tired. I followed Okpolosi's 3/18 advice and switched taking my lex from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. So now the tiredness hits at 1:00 a.m which is when I use to always wake up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep. Since switching to taking lex at 4 p.m., I'm now sleeping better during the night and not sleepy during the daytime. Called the Drug mfg and asked then about what could be happening 8-10 hours after taking the lex. and told her about others on the internet mentioning this same tiredness 8-10 hours after taking the pill. She didn't know why we would all be experiencing this. I'm hoping this "side effect" will not go away as I can now sleep during the night.
