Ativan effects

Has anyone experienced a side effect with Ativan that affected their Asthma? I read a vague explanation that it did, and now every time I cough I'm like "Oh boy, Ativan!" but I think its just psychosomatic. The cough is definately not new.
also, does it seem bad to take lexapro and ativan at the same time?
I just found this community, and i hope it is as good as it seems. Thanks in advance!
