That is completely unacceptable. Your pdoc may have misunderstood or made a mistake in writing out the script. Nevertheless, his receptionist should be able to get ahold of him to correct the error. The lower dose may be written in the chart but if you and he discussed a different dosing, then the chart is wrong. Trust me, it happens.
I took Seroquel 25-50 mg at bedtime for 15 months. It was very helpful in treating several dynamics with my diagnoses. Call his receptionist back and insist she contact the pdoc or the doc on call for him. It can be done. Good luck.
