Hey there Kiwi:-) I would like to think that with GAD you're supposed to know what you're what you're worrying about-but that's not always the case I find anyway. I am on Effexor-XR which is approved for GAD as well as depression-have you heard of it there?
Hope to hear back, Kristen
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Hi everyone This is New Zealand here. Peace and happiness to you all. For 37 years my symptoms have been those of GAD I suppose, except that with GAD you're supposed to know what you're what you're worrying about. Back in the 60s when I discovered I had Anxiety Neurosis, the main symptom was Nameless Dread and that's still the best description I know of. All day every day, knot in lower abdomen, lump in throat, fear. It's insecurity (a glib word but so awful in real life). Nothing works, including Xanax. Has any kind person got any recommendations? Finding real security is one I suppose.
Thanks everyone
Fred
