Hi PV, sorry to hear you're going through this. Especially with the Topamax. Do you have a diagnosis? I have been there when I have had 1 great day-then a not so great day. I rapid cycle. Have you ever heard of that?
IMHO,it may not necessarily be the fact that you may be getting such bad side effects because you don't really need a mood stabilizer-it just may not be the med for you. Have you tried any other meds besides the Neurontin and Topamax?
Hope to hear back, and hang in there:-)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> I'm trying to figure out if I actully need a mood stabilizer. I mainly have problems with depression and anxiety, and when the depression lifts I do get "on with things" but get burned out quickly. Its like I only have so much steam - I have a great day one day, but not two in a row.

I have at times not taken the Topa at all, and find that there is really no change, or I am just as depressed as usual.
