If you've never been a "social butterfly" before, then I doubt any drug is going to turn you into one -- and why would you want that anyway?
Klonopin just helps me feel normal (no experience with MAOIs) and I socialize when I feel like it. I'm actually quite good at it, epecially with a trace of K in my system. I could fake it pretty well before, but now it feels more natural, and I socialize about as much as I want to.
