Hiya:-) Good rhyme though....Anyway, 7 weeks is about the "mid-mark" for a lot of meds to kick in. I believe the "norm" is 4-6, but by 7 definately feeling some improvement-hopefully and usually.
I'm sorry to hear about your anxiety today. Do you think anything started it off?
May I ask how are you feeling besides the anxiety? Any other side effects you can't bear? What other meds are you taking? I have been really anxious AND manic at the same time-I don't think it's odd-frustrating YEP, but not odd. Hang in there, give it a chance and call your doc if it gets worse.
Just my opinion.....
Hope this helped?
Kristen:-)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And I didnt mean that to rhyme! hehe! I feel like my anxiety has smacked me in the face today, I thought I was beating it, but obviously not. Im on TCA, amytriptyline, I think that being on it for seven weeks now, is that long enough for it to be working? Like I have said before It has worked a little, but not anywher near what I'd like, is this reason enough to stop? Its the kind of anxiety that makes you feel sick...............
However its making me a little bit manic too (obviously or I wouldnt usually be writing this) Is that possible? really anxious and manic at the same time?????? *SIGHS*
