Another question

In reply to Magnesium Questions., posted by Questionmark on March 7, 2003, at 21:48:43

I was wondering if there could be any explanation for this:
I sometimes take calcium citrate 250 mg and magnesium citrate 100 mg (great mood stabilizers).
Taking magnesium alone doesn't give me the same effect, even after having eaten a meal extremely rich in calcium (higher than 250 mg). Since magnesium is found less in foods, I can't understand why I still need the calcium supplement to feel balanced even though it throws the cal-mag balance further off. In any case, taking one without the other or changing the ratio doesn't work.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Kari.
