abilify and concentration

I saw a psychopharmacologist today who suggested I switch from risperdal to abilify because I gained 60 pounds on risperdal and it exacerbates my ADD. He said I may find it agitating at first but in the long run it will probably increase my concentration. Has anyone experienced this? I'm hoping it's true!
