Touche Amy!I have recently started my meds up again even though three of my friends have passed from brain tumors (I am not exaggerating and I do not know the specific drugs involved).
I basically had to choose a slow and somewhat pleasant death over a possibly quicker one- or what is worse, life in some institution.
I would never recommend these drugs to someone who is just depressed-
at least not without trying to alter one's lifestyle first (exercise, social contact, nutrition) .Of course you know all this!
What makes matters worse is SOME drug companies are altering and hiding data from their brief drug trials. This does not engender trust.
It makes you wonder why our govt. allows all this.
If you want to become REALLY distressed try this web link:http://www.ariannaonline.com/columns/files/120402.html
I think we should establish a site where all the side effects (and positive results as well) are tracked. Each person would fill out a profile and we could do comparison rates for longevity as well. Along those lines, here is another site:

And on a sad note I will probably be adding a third drug to my regimen. It may be too late for me but perhaps others will see our posts and take heed. Thanks Amy.
