Switch to Prozac to Get Off Other SSRIs?

I know it is common practice to switch Xanax and Ativan users to a benzo with a longer half-life (Valium?) to help the tapering process. Doesn't it make sense to switch to Prozac with its longer half-life instead of suffering when trying to quit Paxil/Effexor/Zoloft, etc?
