damn- off abilify and now on giodon

Damn- all this time I thought I was really doing well on abilify was just the manic before the depressive..
To top all of this off, My dad died 6 months ago and my family (who are the majority of my support group) are all grieving and just don't have the energy to be very supportive. I started taking giodon 3 days ago, and it DOES NOT seem to be making any difference. Is anyone here taking giodon?
