risperdal/adderall interaction

Someone on this board told me that they thought risperdal and adderall were a strange combination of drugs to be on because one was a (dopamine?) agonist and one was an antagonist. Could someone explain this to me. I recently increased my risperdal dosage and it seems as though the adderall isn't helping anymore. Thanks so much.
