Hello sl
Whenever I have the problem your going through I throw in the most nutritious concoction of ingredients that I can come up with into my blender and puree my meal with Soy milk so that I can DRINK my meal rather than EAT my meal.
I find it helps enormously If I'm hungry and need nutrition but can't eat normally. I get this particularly when I'm suffering from my anxiety symptoms.
Here's an example of some of the ingredients I'll throw into my blender to give me some nutrition
-Banana
-Apple
-Linseeds (flaxseeds)
-Organic rolled oats
-A handful of almonds
-A handful of RAW cashews (roasted cashews are not healthy because the natural healthy fats have been altered by the heat process)
-Pumpkin Seeds
-Whatever else takes your fancy (eg tomato, carrot or other vegetables you normally like)I normally sweeten the whole thing with honey or maple syrup and then add JUST enough soy molk so that it's thick but still able to be drunk out of a glass rather than actually eaten.
I hope this tip helps you a little
By the way I actually had that feeling your talking about just this morning as I'm feeling a little anxious so the above concoction actually served as my breakfast this morning :)
