In reply to Straterra in anxious types?, posted by utopizen on February 24, 2003, at 2:08:15

My doc just changed my meds because of anxiety. For years, I had been taking 60 mg Ritalin SR/day, plus 300 mg Wellbutrin SR but all of a sudden it was like something gave & suddenly I found myself depressed & sleeping all the time. Nothing would wake me up.

I am now taking 40 mg Straterra & 20 mg Lexapro per day instead, plus one half milligram of Klonopin (very low dose). Already the panic attacks & anxiety are reduced and I find I also function better because with the Sraterra, I don't have the feeling of "crashing" in the middle of the day anymore. I'm more able to work throughout the day than before. That's VERY nice.

It's much more pleasant drug than Ritalin so far... but it's only been about a week for me.

Good luck,
L.
