Through my own experience, as well observing other posts, I have come to believe that both Buspar and Pindolol have limited effects as augmentors. They're mostly an important asset when trying trying to get an SSRI to 'kick-in' earlier at the beginning. Another aside though, Buspar has also been effective for sexual-side effects (I sometimes take 1-2 hours before the act). What is your primary dx? are you unipolar? mostly melancholic or atypical? How acute is your accompanying anxiety? The more info you offer up about your symptoms, the more people like you will be able to give you helpful advice. If not, you're going to be getting treatment suggestions that will be more hit or miss.
