> Im terrified to have a child. What if I go crazy if I go off the medicine? Will the baby suffer because Ive taken any kind of medicine for anxiety/panic? Can anyone offer me any advice. Ive been trobled by this for the last couple of months. I just dont want to miss out on such a wonderful experience. Im at that point in life where I have to think about having a child now.
I don't have all the answers to your question and as a man it is of course different for me in the physical way anways. I am quite positive that taking anything before, as opposed to during a pregnancy won't usually harm for a mother. When it comes to having a child though you still want to make sure you are as in best mental shape as possible, or better than when you where really sick. Having a baby is a whole new world of stresses itself, but has it's rewards. From the background I come from though, I say you have to be very, very responsible and be that child's one and only reliability. You have a child for life obviously and not just until they get bigger and grow up. I hope that doesn't sound mean, its just my judgement.
