It is obvious that you care deeply for your son. The best thing to do is to take him to the doctor. What concerns me is the recurring fever. At the very least they could check him out for strep throat with a very simple throat swab.
Did you end up taking him? We of course are concerned and would like to know what you ended up deciding.
