Hi.Desipramine makes me feel sleepy during the first two or three days.
Desipramine + Celexa sounds like a good combination. Both drugs are about the best at what they do. They are very selective for norepinephrine (NE) and serotonin (5-HT) respectively. They are thus complementary; together acting as a dual-action antidepressant. Other drugs that are categorized as such are Effexor, Remeron, Anafranil, and the soon-to-be-released Cymbalta (duloxetine).
If duloxetine does not become available within the next few weeks, I will be trying a combination of desipramine 300mg + Lexapro.
