Most Antipsychotic meds cause wt gain.

Zyprexa and seroquel are the worst, Clozaril and risperdal can. Geodon is supposed to be weight neutral and Abilify is too, I think. SSRi's can cause weight gain......you have to remember that not everybody gains weight on the meds. Some people experience an increase in appetite ( I sure did on Celexa) but I figured that it was better to be a few pounds overweight than half crazy from Anxiety and panic attacks. I am on wellbutrin SR right now which doesn't do much for the panic. I am not hungry and trying to loose the weight on weight watchers and doing aerobics.
