You make a very good point that I agree with totally -- Effexor XR can work very well. If it hadn't been for the s/e that I could not tolerate, I would have been perfectly fine on it. It treats depression and anxiety so well. That sometimes gets lost in all of our grumblings about s/e, that some of these meds do take care of the conditions we take them for. I'm glad to hear that you are doing well on it, too!
