I had been taking 10mg t.i.d. of generic methylphenidate as an augmentation for depression. My psychiatrist and I decided to try Concerta because of the ups and downs I was experiencing with the t.i.d. dosing. So now I'm taking 1 Concerta 36mg in the a.m. It seems to me that the Concerta is much more potent than the methylphenidate I had been taking; perhaps the equivalent of 50 mg of generic.
Have other people noticed this?
BTW my generics are pale green with DAN on one side and S883 on the other.
