Nardil users and surgery

Hi all,

Has anyone taking Nardil had to come off of it before surgery. If so, did you get back on after the recovery process.
In the literature, doctors advise MAOI users to cease medication 2 weeks before any type of surgery due to the dangerous interactions with all of the drugs used while going under. Any thoughts????
