Lamictal------ Loss of AD effects over short time

I have experienced a nice AD effect with Lamictal, which slowly went away in about a week or two, but returned with each dose increase. I have read numerous posts and this seems to be a common phenomena.
Has anyone increased the dose high enough where the pleasant feeling remains? I'm at 300mg and have been for a few months.
