Some folks on the board have posted links to where to get free medications from. If somebody would be so kind to reproduce it..that would be great! Then this person may be able to get their meds free.
Also...as a male who has suffered with bulimia, there are a few meds that have helped with the 'urge' in binge and purge. A couple I tried, and have been mentioned in the research, are low-dose Effexor, Luvox, and possibly Prozac. Mind you..I am also Bipolar, and take Risperdal, which causes weight gain, but have found that also helps along with my antidepressant in reducing the bulimia symptoms.
It sounds like you really need some serious and good help. Are there not any free mental-health clinics in your area? I know it's hard to get motivated to find these things out when you are depressed, but you would be *surprised* at how good you can feel with proper help. Your husband is likely in 'denial'...and it's only natural, as cruel as it may seem. The only way anything will change is if you go and track down the help you can, and once you do so, you will feel much better. You've started already by posting here.
Keep posting for support...as this is a great place for it.
Best wishes...
Jay
