Apparently the pilots who bombed friendly Canadian troops last year are claiming as their defense that they were "coerced" by the Air Force to take dex, which impaired their judgement.
The Pentagon, however, stated that it considers Dex an appropriate "fatigue management agent".
I knew this was common in WWII, but I had no idea this was part of our current military.
It seems very ironic and hypocritical that the FDA and DEA position is that while amphetamines are useful in some conditions, they are absolutely not appropriate for "fatigue management", and here we have the DOD contradicting that position.
