Hi,
I have been taking Klonopin for about 15 years;
I have had to raise the dose two or three times
at most. My experience with this drug is that
there is no problem at all in staying on it
(i.e. becoming addicted or dependent); however,
in my case at least, trying to get off it
resulted in a stroke or a seizure -- and that
at a small dosage.I am not trying to intimidate you as this drug
seems to be very popular and not like other
short-term benzos (which were addictive for me)
but i am reporting that getting off after a
lengthy period on it, was devastating. I had to
get back on and raise it some.There has been so much sturn and drang over the
benzos, that i am sure your doctor knows which
ones are the best for your wife.Squiggles
