For starters you're on the right track.

I have tried both Effexor and Celexa, and
Celexa - by far has made me feel much less
prone to wacky feelings. By that I mean
Effexor made me angry and extremely defensive
when talking to people.

I find Celexa very good for talking to people,
It makes me feel on the same level as others,
like I have something to contribute.

As far as dopamine goes, Celexa will tend to lower it. For me, this seems to decrease my
anger, irritability, and innability to let
things go. As far as paranoia - it is nonexistant for me on Celexa. Things seem very rational and
logical.

Alcohol can decrease the absorbtion and body levels of certain B vitamins. For sucess with any mental illness, it is necessary to decrease
to consumption of alcohol - it really clutters
the mind. Eat plently of whole grain foods, and
supplement with a b complex if you like - it should only take a few weeks to get vitamin levels replenished.

Give the Celexa a try. It may take two or so weeks to adjust, you may notice lack of motivation for the first few weeks - (this is because norepinephrine and dopamine levels will be lowering) but this goes away with correct dosing.

The best of luck, and remeber to excercise.
This is what helped me make various drug
transitions.
