You might want to go with Parnate, an MAOI anti-depressant. Let me divide it into the Pros and Cons.
Pros:
-less than 2% of people report sexual side effects or weight gain on Parnate
-Parnate generally works very well for depression as it is an MAOI. MAOIs are considered the most effective drugs for depression. However, they are generally considered only for treatment-resistant patients: someone like yourself.Cons:
-like Wellbutrin, Parnate might rev you up to the point where you experience insomnia or other related side effects. Generally these side-effects are reported in 10-30% of people who take Parnate. They often wear off after a month on the drug.
-You have to stop all SSRI use first. After completely quitting the SSRI, you have to wait an additional 1-2weeks before starting Parnate
-With an MAOI, there will be a few foods and drinks you will not be allowed to eat. The number of foods is greatly exaggerated by most people. Important to avoid are aged cheeses and meats and tap beers. A complete listing should be obtained from your doctor, but here's what someone who took an MAOI listed http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/20010814/msgs/75408.html.
