Hi Everyone
This is my first message to this board. About a month ago, I decided to see a psychiatrist so as to get a prescription for an anti-depressant. I explained to her how I felt and she put me on Paxil (actually, a different brand name here in Brazil: Pondera). I took it for a whole month. I felt great from my depression (especially in the last week, when I guess it had finally kicked in) but I hated the side-effects, which ranged from huge orgasm delays to a tremendous need to have long naps all day long. I went back to the doctor that and asked her for a different one. She put me on Wellbutrin. I love the the fact that there haven't been any side-effects, but I've experienced something that felt like a minor relapse of my depression. I've been on it for just 11 days today. Does that mean that Wellbutrin is not good enough for me or is it just too early for it to kick in, considering that it works on dopamine and norepinephrine rather than serotonin?
Please, do reply!
Thanks,
Ricardo
