Wellbutrin can cause hair thinning but it's not very common. I've read that between 0.1%-1.0% of people taking it have thinning hair. It's listed as a rare (as opposed to common and to infrequent) side effect. Be aware that a person can have thinning hair from others causes too such as prolonged stress, poor diet, & hormonal changes. Sometimes it's hard to figure out the root problem.
